About Me

Founders: The McManus Family

Fellowship on the Seas began with a simple but powerful spark—an inspiration from God placed on the heart of Terry McManus. As someone who loves boating and the natural beauty of South Florida’s coast, Terry couldn’t ignore the deep spiritual pull he felt to create a space where fellow boaters and beachgoers could gather, worship, and encounter God right in the midst of His creation.

After sharing this vision with his wife, Tiffany Belle McManus, and their children—Zach, Jordyn, and Gianna—the family embraced it together in prayer. United by a passion for Jesus and a heart for people, the McManus family stepped out in faith to launch a unique ministry unlike any other: a floating church that meets on the waters around Peanut Island, inviting people from all walks of life to tie up their boats and connect with the Creator.

Before setting sail on this new calling, Terry brought the vision to Bishop Gary McLeod, affectionately known to many as “Chappy.” Chappy immediately recognized the sincerity and spiritual urgency behind the idea. Without hesitation, he gave Terry his full blessing, committing to cover the ministry in prayer and offering practical support—including serving as a guest speaker from time to time.

Today, Fellowship on the Seas is more than a gathering—it’s a growing community of seekers and believers anchored in faith, friendship, and the presence of God. And it all started with a family willing to follow the wind of the Spirit.
